Dr Ergul Celiksoy is an accomplished international lawyer, uniquely qualified to practise in three jurisdictions: a Solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in England and Wales; an Attorney licensed by the State Bar of California in the United States; and a Lawyer licensed by the Ankara Bar Association in Turkey.
As the Founder and Managing Solicitor of Bekenbey Solicitors in London, Dr Celiksoy leads the firm with a client-focused, strategic, and solutions-driven approach. His UK practice specialises in immigration and nationality law, advising and representing clients on a wide range of complex matters, including the Global Talent visa, Innovator Founder visa, Skilled Worker visa, family and spouse visas, settlement applications, and human rights claims.
Dr Celiksoy's practical expertise is underpinned by a distinguished academic background. He earned his PhD in Law and an LLM (with Distinction) from the University of Nottingham. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham, integrating scholarly insight with practical legal work to provide innovative and well-researched solutions for clients.
His multidisciplinary experience is further enriched by work in international human rights, anti-money laundering investigations, and policy development. As a recognised academic, his research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Human Rights Law Review, The International Journal of Human Rights, and the European Journal of Crime, Criminal Law and Criminal Justice.
